I would much rather have Nutt than Petrino. Petrino will leave ya in the middle of the night. Do you know what Nick Saban told the LSU athletic Assoc. when he left? He told them they needed to get Houston Nutt. Yes that Nick Saban. You like apples?

Did you know that while Nutt was AT Arkansas, he looked at Nebraska, Baylor, LSU, and Ole Miss?
And just where do you see Petrino going? He isn't going back to the NFL. He can't go to the SEC West. Tennessee, Florida, and Georgia are set with their coaches for a while. Just curious.

that is because Saban and Nutt share the same self promoting Drew Rosenhaus of college football aka Jimmy Sexton. The Nutt besides whatever self propaganda he throws at you is NOT a football coach but rather good at motivation, speeches, and rah rah razzle dazzzle. Which while it might allow you to win big games on occasions you still lose to the Vandys and Kentuckys of the world. I am sure lots of teams wanted Petrino. Can think of two in the SEC that wanted him last year even after taking us to a 5-7 season. He did not jump at their offers or even entertain them.
