Latest testimony given in front of texas politicians said that penalties and forfeited media rights could amount to 750 million so that’s a lot more than anyone was projecting. Fox and big 12 start sending subpoenas to espn an texas and Oklahoma’s leadership and we could see 2025, but who knows. Big 12 has nothing to lose and neither does Fox everyone keeps overlooking how much money is at stake for them both

I don’t remember the exact breakdown they gave but it had something to do with the contract language that had been overlooked
Something like forfeiture of 100% of all media revenue for the remainder and then still having the power to take media revenue past 2025 due to the breach of contract clause
It was something more than triple what everyone was throwing around plus some other penalties

The President of ESPN that started the LHN has said clearly that Oklahoma is the only team that brings the SEC any new tv revenue and that there is no further financial benefit from Texas when it comes to media revenue

Go look at the TV revenue the Texas/ LSU game brought just a couple of years ago...It set a record...
