He didn't get 10 ypa for the season off of just 1 quarter in the NCG.

He did it in first halfs of games all season (he only attempted 10 regular season 4th quarter pass attempts).

We are more dangerous than Mike Leach against man coverage. This has nothing to do with our great defense. It has everything to do with Stetson's strengths getting the ball up and down in the vertical pass game.

I said prove to me that Stetson can win a shootout, you brought up the national championship. Which was not a shootout but defensive struggle that yall won. Rewind a month earlier to a healthy alabama and you will see what a shootout looks like. And he didn't deliver the mail that night

Lol.

We beat 7 SEC opponents by 24 points last season.
We beat 11 opponents by 15 points or more.

So we get an opportunity down where we have to pass in the 4th quarter and stet nails 4 first downs and 2 passing TDs. But you don't consider it a shootout because he only attempted 22 pass attempts through 3 quarters?

Yeah. We aren't going to see eye to eye.
Congrats on 2nd place. Maybe Metchie and Williams will take their covid year back to help this season. It is too bad that your Heisman QB is only a Heisman qb when your team is 100% healthy.

Lol

Tell me what the system is.

I can describe Heupel's system. Day's system. Riley's system.

Tell me what Monken's system is.

That is like me pointing out Bryce Youngs QB efficiency without Metchie and Williams and calling him worse than Herndon Hooker.

Stetson Bennett is a shining example of how stats can be misleading

Facts. Alabama had more passing plays than rushing plays last year. UGA had more rushing than passing plays. Just like with AJ before the evolution of our offense, it's easy to have good passing stats as a game manager when the run sets up the pass and your defense puts you in great field position for flexible play calling. No one is impressed except Georgia fans. AJ was never a starting NFL QB. Bennett won't even get drafted.

We actually passed more than rush in the first half.

You wanna try again and tell me about my team?

I would say it's more kirbys system than monkens. Strong defense that depends on ball control offenses that doesnt make mistakes.

Monken was a 2 time NFL OC and prior college head coach.
Monken has 100% autonomy on both personnel (he chose stet over jt because of how stet helped our run game. Stet just happened to get better over 2020 and opened the playbook) and playcalling.

Monken wasn't coming to uga for anything less than autonomy. Kirby emphasizes "don't frick up". And both Kirby and Monken have respect for the game (and respect other head coaches who respect the game). But all of the calls are coming from Monken.

That's like saying BOB has full autonomy of bamas offense. Yea he has full autonomy but it's still Sabans system. If Kirby wasn't ok with the way monken was running things would monken still be employed?

Not at all.

You can tell me about Bama all you want.
For all I know, you are the expert.

I can share info on UGA. I eat, breath, sleep this staff and team.
I know more than you about the 2021 national champs.

Coley got demoted after 1 year.
Monken is making $2M to run our offense.

Is Kirby the head coach? No shite.
But it is Monken's offense.

I'm repeating myself. That is because of a you problem. Later.

Lol don't get your panties in a wad for trying to discuss football on a football board a few days before the season starts.

Is Bruce a system QB because he requires the best WR tandem in the nation to excel?

I mean if we want to be technical, every QB is a system quarterback. For whatever reason that seems to really upset georgia fans when somebody says that though

Calling someone a system Qb is meant to demean the player.

We now know Bryce requires the top WR tandem in the nation to excel.

What does Bennett need to excel?

We had worse issues with the WRs behind the starters that caused what happened in the national championship though. Not saying that as a slight to georgia though, yall had the best team last year and yall deserved the trophy 100%. I'm still honestly shocked we beat yall in the SEC championship game. I really didn't expect that to happen
