Yeah, and I think you and I both are scratching our heads on Ole Miss. They shouldn't be in the tourney. I'd much rather see Utah Valley or Tulane in their place. Not like Ole Miss with go far anyway.

The fact of the matter is, the committee makes decisions all the time that cause me internal pain. They are inconsistent in their arguments (using RPI when convenient). I think you and I can both agree on that.

Bingo. Just show some consistency and teams will schedule accordingly.

One of these years the NCAA is going to get smart and try to make some money off of the regionals. Miami getting beat in 2 games is killing the NCAA revenue. NC State and UNC sucking in their regional doesn't help either.

What a dip$hit. Ole Miss was ranked in the Top 25 all year long and had an RPI in the top 25 as well. Due to not having a strong #3 starter and a weak bottom of the lineup they finished the year on a poor run, but they have the potential to beat anyone on a given night which is a team that poses a threat in the postseason.

I do believe that there was a bias this year, but I believe it was more toward landing host sites for the regions represented by the committee members and not necessarily an ACC bias. Of the 10 committee members, 4 were from the Carolinas and a 5th had strong ties to the Carolinas, so naturally some of those teams that benefitted were ACC teams.

Miami as a host was the only highly questioneable move involving an ACC team. The ACC deserved 4 hosts. The SEC should have received a 4th host site, but I think they shorted them one to compensate for giving them 3 National seeds.
