Have you had a bad experience in Gainesville?

I have always contended that for the most part you could exchange the biggest schools fans for one another and you would not notice an ounce worth of difference.

All schools have the following:

A) Older Alumni who loved the school and always have. They are usually the best behaved and unfortunately the quietest.

B) Drunk rednecks who never took a class in middle school, forget about a college classroom for them. They can drink until a mountain of Natty Light Cans is piled up beside the Ford Pinto. They can be rowdy, rude and crude just like the students. Forgive them, for they are to stupid to know any better. If Jack Daniels is involved it is best to walk away 'cause Bubba and Jethro and willing to BEAT YOU DOWN if your shirt colors don't match theirs.

This is also the crowd that doesn't mind if their spawn castigates you while flipping the bird. They actually approve and encourage this behavior to ensure the survival of their kind.

C) The students, of which 95% have at least had 2 beers and 60% have had 12. The latter include Frat Stars playing pong at their tailgate, the drunk whores wearing mini skirts so when they fall over they are sure to get on the intraweb with a crotch shot and the regular old students that under normal circumstances would be considered good kids. Add alcohol to this group and you get the ugly results from bravery in a bottle. These are the guys who walk in packs screaming eff your team, eff that, you suck, go home, we are going to beat your arse, etc... Without alcohol this group is tame and probably would help you change your tire if you had a flat. With alcohol they morph in the vitriol spewing barbarians ready to pounce on even women and children. Stay away from them. They usually do not have an organized tailgate by the way so they are easy to spot. They are standing in the rain because they are too goofy to know to put up a tent.

In summary, for those of you addicted to cliff notes...

Your team sucks. Your fans suck and are the worst in the league. Enjoy the the view of a Gatahs butt as clearly you are all looking up at us contending for 2nd. How's the weather down there?
