Police report made public today showed there was a 25-yr old female passenger with Petrino Sunday when he wrecked. She wasn't hurt. She was hired by him last week to direct recruitment process for the football dept. She is engaged to a S&C coach for olympic sports at UA. Petrino lied to his boss and in his press release by saying no one else was involved in the crash. Ranters spent the afternoon "signing in" on the girl's guestbook on The Knot, and The Knot posted that due to all the activity, hers would be a featured wedding next month. Eventually the mods read the (hilarious!) comments, and her Knot entry was pulled down.

Fast forward to this evening. Petrino admitted to AD Jeff Long that he was not alone and had previously lied about it. Admitted to "inappropriate relationship" with the young lady, and said he was under the influence of pain killers and trying to protect his family. Long holds press conference, announces Petrino is on paid administrative leave pending an investigation into the situation. Basically, he hired the girl he was fricking to a position where he'd be her boss, and covered up the wreck. Most think the "paid leave" is to give the University time to make sure they can fire him without a wrongful termination suit.

It's been quite an exhausting day here at the SECr!

Actually, I'm surprised by the rational responses from the majority of our posters.

Oh yeah, Coastie. She was also engaged and supposed to get married in June, I think. Her online guest book was posted on here and on Twitter too. A lot of celebrity appearances were made and then it was taken offline.

You are a practicing attorney. I'm 1 month from graduating law school. I will certainly defer to your judgment. I just hate to hear the words "impossible" when it comes to the law. There seems to always be a way.

If I was 53 and a 25 year old hottie wanted to frick me. I'd give her a job FWIW.

Maybe not at the school I worked at, but I'd pay her for something.

The rant at its finest.

Nothing wrong with getting some young strange. I've been looking for some myself. Unless it costs you your job, that is.

I heard it from one of my best friends who lives in Opelika. Her dad's a lawyer and they can't stand Alabama. This isn't an Alabama rumor.

Not for 3.5 million a year. Wife, hand, grapefruit, whatever. I think I could fight it off.

I think because we can see us getting a good coach because our team isn't a pile of crap.

Also, that our coach hasn't changed and is still the slimeball he's always been makes it much easier imo.

Any time! This mess kept me from being productive this afternoon - it was entertaining like a train wreck and I couldn't pull myself away!

Means more work tomorrow.

Not only cheating on his own wife but fricking a 25 year old girl he hired because she was fricking him....plus she is getting married in 2 months. Damn that seems about as cruel and outright shameful as any affair I have heard of. What a sad, pathetic man. He deserves every bit of what is coming. QB camp coach here we come!

Money just sits in the bank. 25 year old hotties sit on your dick.
