What has been seen cannot be unseen, if you know what I am saying. The first hint the media gets that she has been "processed" or relocated all hell will brake lose in NWA.
And there wil be 100 reportersw asking everyday about her whereabouts and is she still employeed.

Does the Arky brass want to sell their soul and stick with this guy for a couple more wins a year? If I was an AD I would not stick my neck out for a low charachter guy such as BP.
ETA: I think with Arkys talent and resourses they could at least hire someone as good as BP.

That is a very good point. Even more ammo for the "there is no way they keep him" side. I am sure there were other people interested
The position is still posted on UA's website, employment section. Applications accepted until 4/27.

Adm Leave = lawyers for university combing paperwork to see if they can fire him without having to pay out his contract

Oh really?
By the time he left Auburn, the rumors (from my Auburn friends who were from Auburn and Opelika) were that his wife was fricking an Opelika Lawyer (pretty sure there was a confrontation in the lawyer's office) and a couple of the football players. This was when Tubby had his back surgery. His back surgery slowed him down a bit, but before that, he was partaking quite a bit as well. There were also rumors about the DuBose style happy endings when he was having "rehab", but I don't know how true they are.

All I am saying is that Arkansas does not have to fire him. And financially, any lawsuit from this girl will be a drop in the bucket compared to the amount a successful program brings in. They can make this go away if they want. The question is do they want to? If the board, president and enough faculty members start putting on their academic hats and decide the perception risk is too high, he is gone.
Stop putting football into this. Football does not usurp the state entity portion of the equation and the employment dynamic of the two stongly factors into that..
quote:
Right now I would lean toward him being fired for the mere reason that any time an Arkansas employee is fired for misconduct from here out they would be able to point to Petrino keeping his job. It will be too much of an issue with the thousands of faculty members at a university of that size.
So...football doesn't factor in? Exactly.

the position was filled. Companies are not always proactive about removing things from websites. It usually coincides with IT's schedule

Press conference
AD says BP sorry for inappropriate relationship
""""" lying about the wreck to the university
Said he was sorry to his friends, family, university, etc
He's being put on administrative leave, fully paid while the AD "investigates"

Exactly. Could you seen him sitting across the table from an EEOC officer and saying "I'm the HC at Arkansas damnit!" That would end well.
