His stance on recruiting the state of Georgia has been brought up continuously. He has this notion that Georgia kids are all overrated, and don't develop at the next level. There's also this notion that since Alabama and Georgia both seem to produce similar players at LB and DL, that we should focus elsewhere. I just don't know how you question the recruiting methods of a coach that has six #1 recruiting classes in 11 years in the SEC.

So Georgia high school players aren't as good as Alabama high school players?

Ever heard of Cam Newton?

Funny thread, some people get so emotional when Saban is questioned.

I disagree with the OP on this subject, most of his post are inline with my thinking, not this one.

I think this thread is the direct result of OP being very upset with Saban and the Philon fiasco.

Saban is an A1 a-hole, but he wins big.

Should be interesting to see, if this hurts future recruiting. He's a master of words, so I don't think it will.

I'm still pissed that Saban took a chance away from a more deserving RB instate and gave a spot to that damn yankee Mark Ingram.

BhamDore is usually an excellent poster who's very knowledgeable about football. I just think he's had a little too much to drink at his Super Bowl party. It's best to leave him alone.
He's shown his true colors. He is not an Alabama fan.

Yeah, and I'm pissed that Bryant took away JimBob from Faunsdale's chance to sign. He could throw the ball all the way across his catfish pond.
