With TV dictating,I think there will be major changes in the conference with Texas,FSU and others replacing those from smaller markets,
Total BS
America does not need a college version of the NFL......and if it ever came to that, the sport would lose its appeal.
One of the great things about college football is that a team can come from nowhere and do great things and great programs can and do fall with regularity......
Nobody knows what the future holds.
Ole Miss could hire a Chancellor that decided to make athletics a priority and its program could change markedly.
South Florida and Central Florida could become major programs and the resulting competition in the state could bring the "Big Three" down somewhat (has this already happened in recent years with Miami and FSU?)
California could become a much less dependable source of talent as its population becomes increasingly Hispanic.....and that would effect the entire Pac Ten in an adverse way.....
Who knows what will happen?

I think that the conference is going to get even more insanely competitive in the next decade, and that Vanderbilt and Kentucky are going to have a hard time keeping up with everyone else
Danielson alluded to this on Finebaum a few weeks ago and believes this will be the biggest factor in getting some type of playoff in place. He said ESPN and CBS have way too much money invested in the SEC, and the risk of teams beating each other up and not being in the BCS picture is becoming too great for them to ignore.

see you're a Middle Tenn fan-see them tomorrow night on ESPN2 against Troy at 8 pm cst. That's right Tuesday Night Football!
Middle Tenn. had a pretty explosive offense a few years back when LSU played them. Troy usually has a few really good players on their defense.
Who is favored?

Nothing will change....The more dominant teams will continue to win the lion's share. The underlings will occasional sink a ship or two and that is about it...

Yeah, I'm a HUGE Blue Raider fan. Always have been. I'm not really sure who is favored tomorrow night. I'm guessing Troy since they are home. Troy has a pretty good team...as usual. Both teams could end up winning the Belt. This is a really big game. MTSU is 3-1 with wins over Memphis, Maryland and UNT. If MTSU can manage to win this, then they'll be 4-1 with Mississippi St. coming to Murfreesboro the week after. Now THAT would be a huge game. MSU better not over look MTSU...
