Well, there are less than a dozen regular UF posters here, and none of them really talk constant shite. Getting shite back after all the shite talked really isn't a melt; it is just more shite talk.
Plus, Napier has had a losing record. He didn't have the highest win % in the conference as a HC.
LSU will be fine, but "the fear" of everything posts are just silly. It is a bad year to be in a HC search.

What are people afraid of? LSU going from slightly above average to moderately above average? Even under Saban, you guys have never dominated this conference. Do you honestly think you have any chance of that given the current climate and the strength of several other programs? At absolute best, a good coach will put you in the top 5 in the conference with a chance to win a conference title every few years. The truth is, LSU fans are absolutely terrified of accepting reality.

I don’t think anyone is afraid of LSU. The state is poor, the University is bankrupt, the AD is a lame duck, there isn’t even a sitting President for the school, and the governor is holding press conferences and saying stupid things.

Kirby wasn't a guarantee. Georgia took a chance. Same for Lane. Heupel. Elko. Time for some younger, lesser known guys to get an opportunity. That's the way college football has always worked. Jimmy Johnson and Les Miles weren't winning natties at Oklahoma st. They turned out pretty good.

What exactly are people afraid of? LSU doesn’t even have a chance to reach the level of Alabama in the mid Saban run. Your ceiling is an SEC title every 5 years or so. Why is that any more frightening than Alabama, Georgia, Texas, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Florida, TAMU, etc? Are you really that deluded?
