Just think Jesse Owens was running 9.4 on dirt tracks as a HS kid way back in the 30's, wow!
World Records
(• - Record was ratified)
9.4* Chicago Jun 17, 1933
9.4* Columbus May 19, 1934
9.4* Evanston May 18, 1935
• 9.4* Ann Arbor May 25, 1935
9.4* Columbus Jun 13, 1936
• 9.4* Chicago Jun 20, 1936
Some of those at Ohio State
Would ya believe there was another cat back then who had a 7-3 record on him in the 100?
Due to injuries in 1936 he missed our Olympic trials.

Derrick Henry
This dude is a true beast. To make it out of Alabama( the way Saban uses running backs) and still walk plus an NFL career.

Fournette has been clocked over 22 mph multiple times in the NFL. Henry does not have elite speed. He has the physics , but not elite speed.

Starting RB's who return kicks, hmmmm?
While Spiller is technically the "starter", Achane gets plenty of carries and is excellent once defenses are gassed. He also runs track at TAMU. It's not an exaggeration to say that he's in the top 5 fastest football players in NCAA, maybe even the fastest.
