That "new annex" is the new Chemistry Building...

...a very fine addition to campus!

The interior of Tiger Stadium is what bothers me the most.
The upper deck concourses just need a good pressure washing IMO. If the old dorm rooms can be opened up to provide more space, lower bowl concourses could look amazing!

I agree, there is so much unused space in the lower bowl of Tiger Stadium. Lets Hope Aleva is reading this thread.

Well I'm glad you like it, but this is your current view of that building...

Its not the ugliest building on campus, but its just kind of plain and boring IMO

Nah I was thinking the same thing. They could do better than putting a parking lot right up against it, too.
The building itself is good.

frick it, I'll add the legendary (but ugly) Barnhill arena to the list:
Still used for gymnastics and volleyball I believe, but they have updated the exterior a little bit recently if I'm not mistaken.

Lots of the mid-century modern buildings, International Style buildings, and brutalist buildings will eventually be missed. The tide is already starting to turn for some styles. You don't see older masonry mid century modernist styles as often, with authentic materials and period appropriate fixtures. Many have been badly altered, "updated" with whatever trendy upgrades were popular in a given decade. Recall that in the 1970s and 80s, some of the most cherished traditional buildings were considered for demolition.
New buildings which try to mimic traditional styles often wind up feeling hollow and impersonal without trying to.

Could definitely benefit from some offsetting colored bricks/sections, some sort of window coverings/awnings, larger and different sized windows, or SOME stylistic design throughout the exterior. The building itself isn't bad, it's just soooooo beyond plain and one-dimensional it completely ruins it and makes it look straight from a small city in Siberia or a prison crammed into a downtown area somewhere.

While I agree with your train of thought, there is a reason colleges incorporate different styles of buildings onto their campus. It breaks up the monotony.
There is an old joke amongst older LSU fans regarding the Ole Miss and Alabama campuses..."You want to get to ______? It's the red brick building with the white columns. Can't miss it."

The penis is gay, but this sucker
Is über badass and makes up for any phalic symbol artwork we may or may not have on campus.
