Well Beck is no Cam, and 24 is no 28. That was also 14 years ago. Saban's better defenses were afterwards.

Haha, as I already posted I knew the entirety of your argument would simply be “oh yeah, but Cam.”
Anyway if you want to play this game you must also admit that Auburn’s overall 2010 talent was a joke compared to Georgia’s right now. And that losing to Gene Chizik is woefully worse than losing to Kirby Smart. Or that Saban was in year 4 when that happened, and DeBoer is in his third game at Bama. And that DeBoer won the game, whereas Saban lost.
Or, you could just admit it was a bad take. I mean, DeBoer may not live up to expectations in the end, who knows. But your take is still shite.

If I remember correctly we lost Metchie when we won the SEC Championship. Then we lost Williams in the 3rd QTR of the Championship, but before we lost him we were WINNING that game and he was running circles around your defense.

They know they were lucky to win the one time they did. With Williams and Metchie out there they stood zero chance.

The ‘Cam’ part was literally the only substantive part of that quote worth addressing.
The point differential point was just inane. Bama was up by 24 and lost by 1 in 2010. But you are suggesting it is worse to be up by 28 and then only winning by 7. That’s an incredibly bad take.
Then the rest was just backtracking where you tried to compare different era’s of the respective coaches (Saban’s prime years versus Kalen’s third game).
