see i thought the opposite... i thought they liked the dirty grittiness of their play so they would pay in 7 million a year instead of a paltry 2.6 million or whatever it is.

I disagree. With looming sanctions and competition for coaches this year I think it makes sense to keep Luke rather than make a bad hire and be stuck for 3-4 years. Let Luke coach another year or two and evaluate. Don't panic like the Volols.
