It also doesn't really matter who has the best players. Shoot, Alabama always has the best players, but they get beat from time to time. Mistakes, penalties, turnovers...lots of things happen that can make the better team lose. I don't know why so may people get all tied up in knots over somebody elses opinion anyway.
State thinks they have the best team, and we think we have the best team. What they think of their team doesn't affect me in any way, and what we think of our team doesn't affect them in any way. We can all argue until we are blue in the face, but nobody is going to change their minds about it.
And, as Vecchio said....we can let the scoreboard decide. But I can guarantee one thing...even after the game, people will still think their team is better.
Ask any LSU team who had the better team last Saturday, and I can promise almost every one of them will say LSU had the best team.......but.....
