It's absurd especially since college basketball already has the blueprint for them to follow with Quality Wins, focus on metrics, encouraging big OOC matchups...
College football just doesn't really have that much insightful punditry in general. It's about like the SEC Rant all the way up: hot takes and trolling.
A good argument could be made for Ohio St to be the #2 seed. The defense is very, very good.
However, anyone that looked at their actual results saw they only played 2 teams with Top 40 defenses and their offense struggled mightily against both.
Yet most pundits were talking about them like a legendary juggernaut.

Yep, ridiculous fall for A&M and all contingent on A&M’s defense not being up to snuff. Well, they proved that wrong against Miami. Just a horrendous job by the committee, but thankfully, they fricked up so badly to necessitate big changes coming next year. To 16 we go.
