The regular season, which is what used to be the best and most unique thing about college football, no longer matters. None of the four semi-finalists are even conference champions and three of the four have two losses. Notre Dame is sitting pretty with the best record but they might have the worst loss of any team currently ranked in the Top 25.

Just like the NFL, it's less about being the best team and more about being the hottest team.

We need at the SECr posters who hated the 12 playoff, said it would make regular season meaningless, and no team out of top 4 would win NC to be banned
