It's going to be awesome. Probably the best and worst time of the year.

So....you're fricked more or less.
Honestly, I'm trying to recall my mindset heading into this year. We had Treon, which we all knew what he had to offer and Will Grier who was a highly rated prospect, but no experience. Behind them, literally was Jacob Guy, (who the hell is that?), and the transfer from Vandy.
None of those guys had any experience in Mac's system obviously. With that being said I think I had very low hopes about the QB situation as were a lot of Gator fans. The rest of SEC Media picked us 5th or 6th in the East and I'm sure the Rant pretty much said what you just did as a whole.
We ended up doing ok. And that is with our starter getting caught roiding it up halfway into the season and throwing a monkey wrench into things in a major way.
This year we have Treon, who again is a known commodity. Del Rio who has had a year of getting to know the system in addition to being with Nuss at Bama. Then Franks who was highly recruited, Trask (total project), then the rest of the guys.
So, I really don't think anyone can say definatively we are in a worse situation. Overall, depth wise I would say we are in a better situation IMO. It should be intersting for sure. Grier has set us back a year at least.

Fans like to be optimistic about their team as they read the press clippings about their recruits. Florida fans need to sober up and realize that offense is going to be a big struggle yet again, and the defense will be weaker.
You don't have but one playmaker at WR coming back, yet again. You MIGHT have a JUCO RB succes story, but you still have the same crappy OL and one more year of crappy experience doesn't make it good.
Other than Treon, you have less than zero experience at QB. The favored starter (older player) is a career backup and your only other hope didn't even get HS experience if your top recruit wants to redshirt. Even if he doesn't, who did he play against at small school high school in a town with the population at 12 or 13.
The rest of the SEC will make plenty of fun of Florida next year. And Gator fans will be calling for Mac's head when your record will be worse than this year.
Oh, and let's not forget, your super duper kicker hasn't even ever kicked a FG.
So, you potentially have a QB who couldn't start on his HS team, and a FG kicker who never kicked a FG but everyone is excited about both??????
Good luck, Florida. Better score some safeties and pick-6's. YET AGAIN.
Meanwhile, the NFL will have 3 former FL quarterbacks who have another school next to their name when it lists what school they are drafted from.
Florida: where QB's go to die.
Can the dentist throw the ball?

Serious Question. What happened with Will? Were there hard feelings between him and the coaching staff at how the suspension went? Whats the story?

What's Florida fans opinion to the likelihood that Franks might transfer if he's not the starter in 2 years?

Wow, your stupidity just infected everyone who read this.

It's sad how true this probably is.

All I can gather is that Grier and his Dad met with Mac and basically wanted to assured that he would be the starter when he came back. Mac was would make no promises. Grier thought about it and decided the transfer was in his best interest. Not sure how true this is, but that's the story. My guess is Mac was livid about the whole deal and that didn't make Grier feel to good about his chances.

Grier had no experience, yet he beat out Treon. Why couldnt Del Rio, Franks or Trask play right away and have similar success??
UFs oline this yr had 2 Fr and a transfer from Fordham starting, that will be shored up.
Only WR we re losing didnt play much anyways, we are adding a few more good ones

And your whole argument is really bad BTW. Lot's of reasons why our team will be bad, but then you state we are where QBs go to die. This is Mac's second year. Muschamp is no longer the coach and it looked to me like a QB that fits Mac's system (Grier) did pretty well considering. Mac and Nuss have a pretty good history with QBs IRC.
Yeah maybe we will be horrible next year, but all signs point to our HC and OC being pretty good at developing QBs.

Just face it guys, THIS was your season to step up and take the East and you all failed to do so.

Id be willing to bet not a one of those 3 are worth a damn.

And if true Mac took the right direction. Grier has no place to request that. Miss half the season from roids suspension but feels like he has the right for the job to be ripped from who ever put the time in to win it? Yeah, good luck.

Technically yall did need a QB with a dick full of roids to beat them.

Yeah because all he threw was 80 yard bombs right?
Most passes were between 8-15 yards and the WR scored due to others blocking downfield
Watch the highlights

He put them in his dick? Man, that sounds really painful especially if it was the injectible kind!
