If you don't want people sniffing around, do you think a "no comment" sounds better than a flat denial? These people aren't under oath, and they aren't testifying as to matters of national security. It's fricking college football, and it's a business.

Austin is also the youngest and most liberal city outside of San Francisco. It is fast-paced, packed, and full of homeless. A great place to visit, not a terrific fit for an old man.

I promise you Nick Saban does not care about any of this. Terry orders for him on the rare chance that they go out to eat. He doesn't care about food, just that it sustains him. He is the kind of guy that doesn't care about anything but work.

They're not good business people. They let 4 teams walk away, ruining the 3rd conference they've been in (to the detriment of themselves), all because they're arrogant myopic blowhards.

More detailed than most false denials.

Why not a "Mack Brown is our current football coach and we are preparing for Baylor this Saturday"?

Yeah, it's wreaked havoc on Saban's career thus far! Are you a 7 year old who still believes in fairy tales?

if you kept track of Deloss' Dodd's retirement at all you'd know that they'd lie every week if they felt that they needed to cover something up

In this case, I would not even think of it as a bad lie. It's meant to protect Mack. It's actually kind of honorable.

Like I said yesterday, Saban has been at Alabama almost twice as long as he was at LSU, yet LSU fans froth at the mouth to explain to us Saban's deepest thoughts and psychological motivations.

If I had a dollar for all the wrong predictions LSU fans have made about what would happen during Saban's tenure at Alabama.....I'd have a lot of fricking dollars.

It does, but it's coming from Bama fans. Why would LSU fans be scared? Saban is already at Bama. You've already got the upper hand.

Because that's the oldest line in the book and everybody's on to it.

Good Lord. We have had this same exact thread every month for years. We're annoyed.

This one apparently was just as obvious.

He Gone!

Book it! he tipped his hand when either him or the wife said they feel special pressures! LSU had him after his second year he was at BAMA but when it came time for the boosters to write the checks for saban they bailed. That story is the truth!

So why not let us just have this thread to ourselves? Why are you here? To you, Bama is not the same as LSU. Saban views it as home, whereas LSU was just a job. Why aren't you posting on the Off Topic Board?

Because I want to.

I enjoy the sideshow.

Why are LSU fans so obsessed with our coach? Makes sense Alabama fans would post in a thread about Saban.
