Dont be a total jackass. I know your feelings are hurt.
Why would my feelings be hurt? Texas just fired their worst coach ever and just added a guy that almost won a national championship last year. Things are great!

I think you're confused at us laughing at you.

Speaking of which, you keep dodging my question: so if Texas a&m is going to be better than they were in 2024, then they should be a guarantee to win the CWS in 2025, right?

Really?

Does ANYONE else want to help this guy with this question? Like it is coming from a 12U baseball player. That's not true as even my son knows this answer.

Maybe you should ask TN Vol fans? They have experienced this before with an insanely good line-up in 2022. Vitello learned from that and 2 yrs later did it. Why he is the best HC in college. Insanely good 6 year rebuild.

Pressure and optics are going to be on Easley 100%. He inherited huge expectations. And anyone who knows the history of Omaha, knows just how immensely difficult it is to repeat all the way to the finals. But we have a damn good shot.

Ags got exactly who we wanted. Our AD definitely pursued the 3 best natl winning coaches but after that Earley was it. And personally, outside of Vitello, he is my #2.

We lost Cain. But Longley is absolutely an upgrade.

This is a cope.

Not a single Aggie would have traded Cain for Longley prior to last week.

I like how an LSU fan will tell an Aggie what their fanbase thinks.

Guys, why do few of you not base your comments on references in terms of supportive data?

No WAY Longley is NOT a significant upgrade to Cain.

Go look at Cains resume. Purely a recruiter and certainly a very good one.

But Longley is known as good of a recruiter (look at his classes) and one of the best hitting coaches in D1. Cain....does not have his resume. Period.

Cain get absolute credit as a recruiter. He absolutely killed it for LSU.

Many Aggies hated Cain as the 3rd base coach. He is a recruiter, not a very good coach.

How is Longley one of the best hitting coaches in D1 when he wasn't even the hitting coach?

He was their "coordinator of pitching and hitting development" in 2022, which seems to be a volunteer position.

He was listed as an assistant the rest of the time, with Steve Rodriguez being listed as the hitting coach.

As for recruiting classes, he was only their recruiting coordinator for one year - 2024.

A volunteer at Arizona State?

Ah there it is, anyone who questions an Aggie must be a Texas fan.

No, you are a "sidewalk" fan. Perfect for that burnt orange fan base. That is all most of them are. You found your kin!

Saying "only people that are ingratiated in the cult can be aggies" isn't really helping your case here...

And you wonder why no head coach wanted to join you freaks

Successful athletic programs have sidewalk fans.

This is just completely obtuse and you're better than that. Your hatred for A&M blinds you to outright logic sometimes.

A coach leaving, let alone most of the staff, certainly would mean that players could follow them. That's not unheard of. Didn't a few players do that with Deion when he took over Colorado?

At this point, all reasoning is out the window.

Best head coach in school history leaves --> "well the guy we hired that's only been a paid assistant for two years is lightyears better, stupid sip!"

Best pitching coach in school history leaves --> "well the players didn't like him anyway because he was in meanie in practice. MAJOR upgrade, stupid sip!"

hire a guy that wasn't even a hitting coach as hitting coach --> "well, he knows how baseball works and understands that you have to swing a bat in the game, stupid sip! Checkmate!!!"

Like I said: they're coping. Their fanbase has never and will never see them win a championship in this sport. So cope is the best they've got
