I was excited about the sequel trilogy after the force awakens. Then the last Jedi crapped all over the lore and any criticism of it was labeled As sexism or racism or some other ist or phobe. I watched the rise of soywalker once because I just had too. They tried to course correct, but TLJ created a chism in the lore. And Disney /lucasfilm have continued to attack fans ever since. frick them.

It's not just whether a movie was bad or not, they've also destroyed the best characters in the series and they've screwed with history and timelines of those characters. I heard the Rise of Skywalker was better than Last Jedi, but I still heard it was really bad.
Disney got what they wanted, a woman who never received proper training from Jedi (because she didn't need help from men), but never lost a battle, overtook every problem she ever faced without consequence, injury, or much difficulty at all. She's basically god. It's shite.
Meanwhile, the likes of Luke Skywalker and Obi-Wan become pussies under Disney's watch. It's just trash imo.

the disney trilogy makes the original trilogy’s storyline insignificant.
“Hey guys let’s bring back the empire but this time they are 10x stronger. Also let’s have Palpatine be immortal and can raise thousands of star destroyers at a snap of a finger.”
It feels more like a fan fiction than star wars. They literally decided to bring back everything the OT characters fought to destroy.
