I guess the NIL rule was inevitable, but, ultimately, it’s going to lead to pandemonium. Who the hell is helping these teenagers navigate school and conference regulations, NCAA rules, NIL standards, state laws? Who guided Ewers through paying hundreds of thousands in taxes? Some P5 schools need an entire department dedicated to these athletes. And they don’t have the money. There’s going to be some big bumps along the way.
