...prior to the bottom of the 8th inning. I thought Manieri was going to be fired last night due to the baserunning and pinch hitting issues. Almost wasted Lange's effort to boot.

It was funny as hell. And then they totally wash it from memory and start chest thumping and trash talking. Beautiful bunch they are.

I never boast pre game and hardly ever visit the rant during a game. I wish a lot of my fellow Tigers would do the same

You're not wrong. I try not to bother reading tRant when LSU is losing in any sport. Anyone who knows baseball knew that they weren't going to go down quietly the last 2 in innings especially after getting into State's bullpen.

frick you; every damn school on there talks pre game smack. as far as in game melts go, you will not find a fan base that gets "into", I mean INTENSE, their baseball. MSU has fans like that too as does Arky and Ole Miss. gators fans are so emotionally unattached they might as well be dead.

Oh, it was very enjoyable when LSU and the "fired" coach came back and won the game. The idiots called themselves out and then were like "Ruh Roe Reorge". CPM outed them for the fools they are.

Are you serious? Hell, I'm an LSU fan and I enjoy the melt as much as anybody. If I was a fan of another team I would be laughing so hard I wouldn't be able to breathe.

Dont know what was CPM's fault last night... Lange, as good as he is, frustrates the hell out of me when he starts nibbling around the plate and running his pitch counts up needlessly. First inning run due to two walks, an excuse me single, and a HBP... that aint CPM.
BTW, Props to Alex Lange who pitched his last game in the Box last night. Great effort and great result!

Only until LSU is behind on the scoreboard again. They don't ever disappear, they are out there ready to pounce at a moment's notice. The Tiger rant went from a game thread and your typical TV, Ben McDonald, etc threads to totally blowing up with 2 1/2 pages of idiocy. It was so freaking enjoyable and rewarding when LSU came back and took the lead.
It's one thing to see a poster make a complete fool of another poster. But there is just no higher level of enjoyment on a message board than when a poster makes themselves out to be a complete fool.
