I think it’s just OU stepping into a real conference across the board. Venable found out the same thing this year.
This is OU… Always has been. It took getting to the SEC to expose who you really are. For reference this OU hoops team would be a tournament lock if they were in the BIG 12 and all would be right with the world in Norman

I think in their mind, having a one and done means something that should equate to better play. But truth is Tennessee, Kentucky, heck Arkansas and Muss fielded 3 lottery picks and barely made the tourney. You need a deep squad more than one prime time guy imo.

When Fears goes Top 10, you guys are gonna be surprised. NBA potential is a weird thing bc you don’t have to have a good year to go round one. The one and dones I remember the past years have had similar years to Fears. Still go Round 1. I’ll never understand it.
