Why would a bama fan come to an LSU board to talk about how Saban did something nice for his sick son? I dont get it. Sorry your son is sick and all but I just dont get it.

There are a ton of Bama people on this board. There is tons of talk about Saban on this board. There is tons of talk about how much of an a-hole Saban is. If you think about it, it really kind of makes sense that he posted that.

Fair question. I did it because I post here and I like the people here (regardless of the rivalry). And, Saban has LSU roots. And because my son is (according to the doctors) dying and I just wanted to post some good news concerning him. We haven't had very many reasons to smile lately. This made us all smile.
This has nothing to do with football. Trust me, if Les Miles sent my son this same stuff I would post it on Bama boards too. Sometimes, there are things that go above and beyond football rivalries.

Thank you. This whole thing has made me look at things differently. I love Bama football. But I would love the thoughts and prayers of LSU fans (fans of any team really) even more.

Thank you. It did make him happy. I told him that was working getting him Coach Miles autograph and he liked that. It made him smile. He is a Bama fan, but man he sure smiled when I told him I was trying to get him the autograph of the LSU coach. That made me very happy...I just want to make him smile.

Thank you so very much. I have been very humbled and happy to see fans of other teams send my son so many prayers and good thoughts. SEC fans are truly the best. My son has loved hearing of so many people thinking and praying for him.
