I'm worried about ball control. It seems like Texas is good at keeping the rock and wearing a defense into the ground, and we cannot afford to let them do that to us. Our offense isn't anywhere near explosive enough to come back from big deficits against Texas' defense.
I honestly don't know what to expect. I will say this. I don't think our team really understands what they are walking in to. this will probably be the loudest stadium they've ever played in. I'm worried it's going to cause a lot of issues with the offense. Some of our OL can't seem to get through a game without multiple false starts. That could be a huge issue for us.

OK, guys, I know this is a long shot. Trolls will undoubtedly try to destroy the thread. That being said, it's worth a shot. Can we get some of the serious, knowledgeable posters in here to talk about this game? Matchups, strengths, weaknesses, tendencies, etc. I remember TexasonTop talking about Quinn struggling against 3-deeps, and that was really interesting and the kind of stuff I'm looking for.
Paraphrase:
OK, guys, I know some sip will refuse to placate me. They will undoubtedly try to destroy this nervous attempt at dubiously articulating why A&M will win. That being said, my anxiety is forcing me to try. Can we get some Longhorns in here that will speak only of their team's weaknesses? I remember Texas on Top was talking about Quinn sucking - yes!! this is what I need to hear.

Unlike you, MtVernon, I say what I mean.
If you don't know what I'm referring to, let me remind you of your self-imposed ban bet that you did not honor.

The fact that you asked AI instead of doing five minutes of research says a lot.

You certainly do. Just wanted to make sure everybody could read between the lines.
You say you want serious discussion and your example is how Texas has a weakness. Blow me. You're gonna get shellacked, and no amount of posting is going to change that.
I've never heard of pre-game copium until now.

Just to clarify, you wouldn't have thrown this little hissy fit if I'd put a Texas strength as an example?

YES exactly what I wanted to say. Thank you

Most likely he's just trying to have productive conversation. And the only way a Texas fan can have a grown-up discussion with Aggie is to ingratiate himself. He has to walk on eggshells and be sensitive to Aggie inferiority complex - which could be set off by any neutral statement that might trigger Aggie.
So you might as well just trigger them and move on. frick Aggie. We're Texas - you're Aggie. eaTme.

If you're this bipolar around your "kids," I feel really bad for them.

That isn't below the belt. If you don't like the thought, I suggest you change.
Sometimes you're great - chill, reasonable, positive. Other times, like today, you're a total arse who doesn't say anything reasonable. That's reality.

Sometimes I realize that placating gets old. Any Longhorn that deals with Aggie types realizes you have to placate to get along. And I'm having a "frick it" day.
Your school is worse. Your admission standards are worse. Your football program is worse. You will lose this game going away.
So you talk about how you pity someone's kids? Shite, go pity your mom. I couldn't care less what you pity.

Nobody's asking for placating. And if you're the kind of guy who acts like this when he's having a "frick it" day, that doesn't have to be the case. You choose how you respond when life spits in your face.
Think about it this way, and this is not a troll or an insult: If your kids found this account and read all of your posts, what would they think?

Are your kids begging you to get up and do something besides sit on your arse and read this useless shite all day? I've checked in twice for 15 mins, you're here non-stop.
See you later tonight maybe.

Nope, I'll be off until Monday at the earliest.
Have a good one, MtVernon.

I believe the game will start out shaky for both teams. 3 and outs. Possibly a turnover or two. It Texas can keep it close in the first quarter, I believe they go on to win going away. If AnM gets an early lead, say 14-0, I think they win going away.
As most as everyone says, it depends on which Ewers shows up. With that said, I can see Ewers going down and Manning taking over. AnM has problems with big, running QB’s. Plus manning is a bigger long ball threat.
The Aggies also need to tackle better. If they play as they did against USC, they will get killed. My prediction: Horns 45. Aggie: 23 with a late score.

Yeah I just mostly prefer rational conversations with ags. Granted they have a bunch of assholes on this site but so do we. Idiots like this hookem moron who can't see quinn's faults will be the first one to disappear if we lose. He likes to post stats but leaves out the most concerning ones like the following:
of 79 Power Five passers, the Texas quarterback ranks dead last in average depth of target
And his deep balls? last season, Ewers ranked 73rd (16-of-47 – 34%) in completion percentage of passes that traveled further than 20 yards – after ranking 89th (16-of-52 attempts – 30.8%) in 2022. This season is sadly no better
We can win this game but we better bring our a game or we're walking away with a loss I would just feel more confident with a quarterback who could throw an accurate ball past 20 yards. The Ag secondary can be beat over the top but the problem is our quarterback is terrible at that.

So what? Have you ever heard of Kenny Stabler? No I thought not. Continue your aggie arse kissing.
