but it’s truly incredible what Schloss has done.. we just struggle too much against better pitching, and once you get there, that’s pretty much all you see...
Texas used 5 pitchers in 3 games in holding Georgia to 8 runs with 38 K's.
The 3 starters did an excellent job of cooling off 2 of the best hitting teams in baseball, LSU and Georgia.
Dylan Volantis' breaking ball drops about 8 ft from his hand to the plate. Good luck w/ that; 36/5 strikeout/walk ratio, 0.95 ERA, has given up 3 runs in 28 innings, 2 of those in his first college game. Against LSU & Georgia, he pitched 10 shutout innings in 4 games with 16 K's, 2 BB's and gave up 2 hits.

Scholss' body language exudes confidence. He knows how to use what he has. Perfect fit for Texas.

Agreed.. but even when you are outmanned, good things can happen because.. it's baseball. Get a walk here, a sac bunt there, and sometimes stuff just goes sideways..

This dude is crazy good and such a weapon the way Schloss & Max are using him. Hopefully he can stay healthy and stick around for all 3 years. He's gonna be expensive this offseason.

I knew he was good, but I didn't realize he was this good. Yes, we've had some lucky breaks along the way, but I was just hoping we would get to 10 wins this year with Pearce.. We're already at 11.
