Top 11 team. Home game vs SEC opponent. 3rd quarter. Stadium 60% full. No energy. We must whip that arse.

I hate to be that guy but to be fair I’ve seen the exact same thing in Death Valley recently. I don’t leave until the last second regardless of score.

If tweet fails to load, click here. I can see the women in costumes would be enticing.
I got invited out but I was happy to sit my arse at home.

Dude, your whole state is a festering cock hole, so get out the q tip and alcohol and get to work.

There's quite a bit of exageration in the OP.
Went and looked at the replay I recorded. Stands were still about 90+% at 10 minute mark of 4th, except for the south endzone. That south end zone is almost always partial as it has huge monitors and a lot of bars, restaurants and amenities where those seat holders hang out. Some of those SEZ box seats have their own mini-fridges at each individual sections and the seat holders still hangout inside.
But yeah, Halloween night, mid 60's, no rain, Texas pulling away. Yeah I can see 40% of the stadium moving on to another party later in the game.

Halloween Night against a team w/ a dead mans chance of winning.
Austin has over 250 live music venues, and most of them had Halloween events. Some of the larger tailgates with prime locations under the oaks across from the stadium went unused last night; probably had a semi-private party elsewhere.
Texas also has a lot of young kids that come to the "B" games; there were very few kids last night. I didn't recognize any of the season ticket holders around me last night.
2 of my seats went unused last night. After trying 10+ people, I just ate them and enjoyed the extra room.

Also home game against an “SEC opponent” is stretchier than Armstrong. We don’t have the same blind loyalty to the conference that gives a team like MSU unearned equity and power. They are a bottom rung team from a bottom rung state full of bottom rung people. This wasn’t a marquee matchup, and Halloween night in Austin is a top 5 party for the city.

We, of all fan bases, can’t call out fan attrition. We’re the worst.
