Maybe step back and look at the “bigger” picture I’m going with this during Red River Shootout week. How’s that all-time record against them working out for you? Wouldn’t OU be perceived as the better program when looking at everything outside of the all-time record?
Just trying to help y’all out in your future arguments, stick to championships, win pct, conf championships

I will say...TX was a very physical team and will give OK a run for their money. But he is a fool to say that to Hurts
They did have their moments, and their QB is everything I feared he would be.....awesome. But this is not the discussion or should be, it’s about Hurts and his ability to extend plays with his legs. Hurts is a physical runner and when he tucks that ball he turns into a running back, very capable of trucking people in his way. I can’t wait to watch this game, it will be a shootout and fun to watch. I’m pulling for Texas, but expect Hurts to have a great game.

Nope, I still believe all-time records against other teams are a meaningless stat

I have no doubt that Texas can play physical game, and will probably play it's most physical game of the year on Saturday.
But that's not going to stop Hurts from putting up stupid numbers.
A lot of our DBs are hurt, but even if they were healthy, the entire defensive unit has a hard time a.) covering elite receivers, and b.) making stops on third down passing situations in general.
I agree with you: Hurts can extend plays with his legs and does not run timid whatsoever.
I don't know if he's quite No. 1 overall draft pick material like the Sooners had the last two years against Texas, but their offense sure doesn't seem to have skipped a beat.

As far as the draft I really have no idea, he does have incredible numbers this year for sure. He might not be as good of a passer as the other two but he is a more physical runner.
This being such a huge rivalry brings out the more physical part of the game naturally.

Hurts is stronger than half the Texas DL, not even getting into the LB's or DB's

I swear y'all make this too easy
