The gap between Texas and every other program in the Southwest region is starting to get noticeably wider. Texas signed the same amount of 5 star players as all the programs in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Louisiana combined in the ‘25 class. The 2024 class was also a similar recruiting performance from Texas vs the Southwest Field.

Texas also develops and retains their roster unlike those programs. The coaching staff construction at Texas is only rivaled by teams like Ohio State and Georgia. Sark has consistently made elite hires. From analysts, to positions coaches, etc.

The “SEC West” is looking like it’ll be dominated by the presence of the Longhorns. LSU with Brian Kelly isn’t a threat. A&M is a dysfunctional mess that donors are probably fatigued with. Oklahoma is a broke has been program, especially with Texas recruiting Dallas so well. The Hogs best ball is behind them.

Good luck to yall boys, it’s an up hill battle. At least the Tigers may be able to avoid Texas on the field some years.

Oklahoma is in a bit of a funk but meanwhile, Texas can’t take advantage of OU’s limitations and win an easy path to a CFP national title. Texas easily could have won last year and this year but Sarked up when it mattered most.

Since Royal’s last national title, Sooners lead Texas in national titles, 4-1. You might want to establish yourself with titles before you insult superior programs as “has beens.”

Oklahoma has been where Texas is currently at while under Stoops and Riley; great teams with sad endings.

Like Texas A&M, when all the chips are on the table, TU chokes it away. The pride of your program diminishes when the lights are at their very brightest. You’re gonna have a hard time turning a hoe football program into a house football program.

Texas has just been really unfortunate at RB. That room has been decimated two years in a row. It’s hard to win a championship if you can’t consistently get yards inside. That issue was only exacerbated by Quinn at QB. You’ll see more complimentary football from Texas going forward.

That’s right, cope. Deflect all you want. Hide your eyes aggy. Texas is going to run wild through A&M, OU, and Arkansas again next season. I doubt we get a shot at LSU, but that’d be another rout.

20 years + with no championship in any sport of relevance. Texas will always be a swimming school and that’s all

LSU has won 2 national titles in football since UTrans’ last title.

LSU has won 2 CWS titles in baseball since UTrans’ last title.

LSU beat UTrans in the regular season in both baseball and football before going on to win the title that year. Who did you lose to the last time you made a CWS Finals..?

Enjoy your high chair at the kiddie table

With Sark as your coach the only thing guaranteed for Texas is a bust and loss in a game that matters. He’s the best at it lol

That’s one way to look at it. Texas was still playing post-season ball. Texas wasn’t nearly as aligned as they are now in leadership and administration, yet they were still playing for championships. Now they have the best AD in college sports. They have some of the best coaching staffs assembled across all men’s sports, with the exception of Men’s Basketball, we all know what happened there. Their NIL collective is efficient and plentiful. Stick your head in the sand, you know what’s coming.

LMFAO dude. I guess you’ve never heard of Scott Woodward. The best A.D. in college sports wouldn’t hire Steve Sarkisian to be their head coach of a football team. i swear texas and texas aTm fans are so delusional. Is that what a failure drought does to you guys after so long????

That’s always been the problem at both Texas schools and i’ve said this for 3 decades. POOR LEADERSHIP!!!!

Sark fell back into the bottle at halftime against Ohio State before calling a RB toss from the 1 yard line to completely choke the game away

TCU is the only team in TX that’s been to a CFP Final

A program constructed by Texas AD Chris DelConte and former Texas assistant Gary Patterson. Dykes is a fraud who got blown out by Georgia with double digit NFL draft picks on his roster. Hes running that program into the ground.
