One, we did not have a very good pass rush in 2013. We were more built to stop the run. Our front 7 averages about 20 lbs lighter and we have 3 pass rushers that will go high in the NFL draft. And 2, we were not playing for a NC. All hopes had been dashed at that point. Of course TAMU 2016 is not OU 2013 either and Trevor could be/should be even better than he was that night 2.5 years ago. I agree the emergence of a pass rush for Bama is a huge difference not just between the OU?Bama game, but even between last years Aggie/Bama game and this one.

Kyle Allen served up 21 points to Bama last year in a game we lost by 18, Normally that would make me feel pretty good about our chances this year, given that we're running the ball way more effectively and Chief has given us a defense like we haven't had in a very long time.

Unfortunately, though, I think Bama will get after the passer really well--our O Line is really young, plus Bama just does it better these days.

So as I said, Trevor's gotta make quick decisions and be accurate. If so, we'll have a ballgame.
