At this point, how is this game likely to play out? I think it will likely be a defensive battle, but I want to see what A&Ms secondary can do against Bama's deep passing game.

A&M wins 29-24 after jumping out to an early 20-0 lead in the first quarter.

If A&M can get an effective pass rush they can compete and possibly win the game.

If they can't get a pass rush they'll certainly lose.

Alabama is going to skull f--k A&M. A&M cannot help but to loose it as the season progresses.

Honestly, I like our chances. The Tennessee test should tell us more. Looking forward to it for sure. We know to be on top the mountain, we got to push Bama off.

No silly, we aren't talking about the LSU/Bama game. We're talking about the a&m/Bama game

Pass protection is critical for Bama to win the game, obviously. If it turns out to be poor, the defense can keep us in the game. I do like the defenses chance against Knight though (yes I know what happened in the utter disaster of a sugar bowl two years ago).

A&M plays better defense then Bama is used to them doing. They also pick up quite a few first downs since Alabama does not handle running QBs well.

Then again who does?

Alabama wins but wins a close one.

No, no you do not. You want to see what A&M's D can do when you block 6 with 5 and no more. That's what you want. That would be a much more interesting game. Trust me.

Our CBs got a bit exposed against Arkansas in the passing game due to a very good Arky team effort and scheme. They did a good job taking the DEs away from the QB for the most part, which gave Allen more time to throw. And when pressure DID arrive, that sumbitch proved to be tough as nails. I was really impressed with him.

Biggest takeaway I got from today's press conference was Mazzone saying, "I didn't know Trevor was that fast." Well, I didn't either. And now that everybody knows, I expect his runs to be a bigger factor.

Gosh I love LSU fans. You're saying A&M is going to loose it when they should tighten it?

Bad spot for us. Ultimately they may have the better team regardless but they get a bye week while we duke it out with Tennessee in Knoxville. Pick em.

If his running is a bigger factor though then teams will likely be more prepared.

Glad the game is at home

Yeah, but maybe Saban hasn't noticed. Because, you know, he's kinda lazy. I'm pretty sure I read that somewhere.

I'm looking forward to the game but don't want to get ahead of myself. A&M needs to take down UT for this to be a top 5 showdown and get the entire nation's attention.

It was 28-20 in the 4th last year, and if not for three pick 6s by our QB, that game would have ended much closer. This team is much much better, but Bama on the road is tough.

I give us a shot, esp if we get pressure on your QB. Should be a good game, but will require great execution by us.

I want Bama fans to know that I am actually going to enjoy the sodomy, so they can feel good about not being rapists.
