Hate losing his versatility, but we also have Terry Bussey that we can utilize for jet sweeps, swing passes, etc. RBs are rarely game changers anymore. If our OL doesn't improve, it really doesn't matter who's carrying the ball anyway.

You never want to lose a guy as talented as Owens. No question.
But at least we have depth at that position.

I like Reuben Owen's but he was 3rd string last year and averaged 3.8 yards per carry. He was likely still 3rd string this year behind the 2 guys that had more yards and carries than him in 2023.
