They take offense easily when you mention their dress up soldiers

I wrote that going the ROTC route while warfare was being waged — and going to college 4 years — was tantamount to dodging the draft.

I once got an entire section of the LSU student section to chant "pleather boots" during an aggie band performance. I thought it was a very niche burn.

Which would explain why aggy’s enrollment soared in 1940.

The U.S. didn't get involved in World War II until late 1941. Once it did, A&M accelerated their commissioning program to get officers to the front within a year with the promise of them being able to complete their degrees when they returned.
Once again, someone who hasn't served in the military and is more than likely incapable of doing so like yourself should probably stick to what you're an expert at...protesting the 2nd Amendment by waving a dildo.

There were fears of a draft following Hitler’s antics, and indeed, a U.S. military draft was instituted in fall 1940, which included a deferral for ROTC.

If you don’t join the military after being in ROTC you are a LARPer

Or you quit after your second year. Unless you are on scholarship, you don't sign a contract until year 3.

We still talking about Texas A&M? The institution that claims to be par with the service academies in officer commissions?
LOL

During World War II, A&M sent more officers than USNA and USMA combined.
Nowadays every ROTC program is given a hard cap by federal law as to how many they can commission.

He’s eating, breathing, and dreaming about Aggies. What a fricking loser.
