Eric Hawkins from Longview? LOL, DeVante already shut him down the last two years as they were in the same 5A district.

4 catches, 4 TD's for Hawkins against Horn last year.

Isn't Manziel also suspended for La Tech and Florida?

Didn't realize it was 2 years ago it was in Longview. Hawkins had 0 catches in the matchup in Longview. As a matter of fact, in both match ups (one in the playoffs), the Lobos scored on 2 trick plays.

I see where you're talking about the 4-149 performance in Mesquite last year.

Key Position: DT Nealy played 3-4 DE last year and was trying to maintain a certain weight. He has been told he is free to gain weight now that he is playing interior. Hopefully he can do this and still play with a high motor like he has done in his career. If he can get up to ~290 for SEC play then we'll be in better shape.

The defense looks a little green but should be able to handle their own. We'll see how the secondary reacts against La Tech

La Tech has a very strong passing attack with a seasoned QB. In the past, this has been our weakness
