My guess? 1412 yards.

Would be the 2nd most receiving yards in the SEC in the past 8 seasons to 2010 Alshon... Not going to happen.

Swopes could if he doesn't eat his press clippings like Jeffries(#1) did from '10 to '11...

My useless, out of my arse guess for Swope is 850 yards

Agreed @ 700-850 yds for Swope. It's going to hurt you guys losing Jeff Fuller as well.

You faced 3 DB that were drafted AT ALL last year. None in the first couple rounds.

This year, you will see 3 of the projected top 5 CB's in next year's draft, along with 2 top 5 FS and a top 5 SS. Overall, you will probably play 20+ DB's with NFL futures (The league had 12 drafted last year, 3 in the first 2 rounds)...

After the last few years watching us play Georgia, LSU and Arkansas, I have no doubt we can move the ball(even without a QB lined up yet.)

However, if our defense can't stop anyone, it is going to be a brutal year.

you scored 20 vs our defense that was coached by GAs after firing willie, i am not so sure that you should really get much comfort from this

Bottom line? A&M has an offensive line better than Bama's, a receiving corps better than Tennessee's, running backs better than South Carolina, can sack the QB more often than LSU, and a signal caller better than whatever Arkansas has.

Oh and you're full of shite

Swope is a slot receiver. Do you think DC's are going to put their best DB on an inside receiver?

My guess is they'll put their best DB outside on Mike Evans. A 6'5" RS freshman (former basketball in HS) who is looking to be pretty good this year. But losing Fuller does hurt our offense. He had a bad year last year but he still commanded the other teams best DB an usually a safety over the top also

No it won't at all actually

At the beginning of the year, but by the end of the year Swope was getting much more attention and Fuller was struggling to beat single coverage. I don't think losing him is that big of a deal. Evans looks like he has a bright future and could be just as productive as Fuller

All five of those games were loses by Texas A&M.
Four of those games were blow out loses in which Texas A&M was outmatched in all phases of the game.

I love after Texas A&M lost to Arkansas by only 4 points last year all of Texas A&M started celebrating...."Hey guys we didn't get blown out this time"

New coach.
New quarterback.
New offensive schemes.

Means Texas A&M's offense will be in the middle of the pack in the SEC.

I tend to disagree actually, teams wont be able to adjust as easily because not only is it a totally new team in our conference but they have a new coach and a new qb and a new offensive system. If their QB can handle himself I think they will be able to catch a lot of teams off guard and then in years 2 and 3 come back down to earth as people start to figure them out and get used to playing aTm year in and year out.

All they have to do is watch game film on Houston.

The new QB will be eaten alive by the SEC defenses. Stop the run and Texas A&M's offense is in big trouble.

There is nothing that says we're going to run the same offense they ran at UH. Our roster is built much differently than theirs

Probably be better off watching the OU offenses from 03-07 with Adrian Peterson. It'll likely be somewhere between that and what UH ran last year (which similar to WVU)

Kingsbury and Sumlin have repeatedly said that they mold their offense to the players, not the other way around. Our best players are RBs and OL with one great WR and no proven QB. So, we'll likely run and throw short screens to RBs to get them mismatched with slower LBs
