Sark getting rid of PK was a huge mistake and shows he's desperate. Defense want the problem.

Maybe, maybe not. PK was a great DC but he usually had weak passing defenses.

Rankings:
2025: 89 > Missed CFP because couldn't stop Florida
2024: 7 > Actually was a very good all-around defense but we had a lot of luck with schedule and opponent QB injuries. Ran into Ohio State wood chipper.
2023: 105 > Absolutely shredded by Penix in CFP; also why we lost to OU.
2022: 86 > 8-5

I think they lose 1 of the away games between A&M, Tennessee, or Mizzou in addition to the LSU & Ohio St loses you have there! Which is still a good season and will have them with a shot at the playoffa!

Defense was the problem both from a systematic standpoint and an inability to adjust when an opponent found something that was working. It wasn’t a problem against OU that is true. Bc the Sooners couldn’t do much against Texas offensively

But Florida… ran essentially one play over and over and Texas couldn’t stop it. Ability to apply consistent pressure against Ohio State and Georgia.

Sark hired Muschamp so they he can focus on offense and is hoping it frees him up in a way he wasn’t with PK
