Our new facility will be 80,000 sq feet, not 64,000. and that does not include and indoor practice field, because we already have one of those and it is 76,000 square feet, we call it Walker Pavilion. That means we will have 156,000 square feet of football facilities, not including the football stadium itself, meaning we kick your arse

UT's new facility has everything in one place. Coaches offices, locker rooms, training rooms, dining room, etc. Alabama's Mal Moore Athletic Facility is around 150,000 square feet, but that dining hall and indoor facility is not attached.

Damn you are annoying as heck.

New pig posters > New UT poster

And that's really bad.

I agree. And I definitely give the edge to BDS over RRS, but we're still the cream of the league if you are talking ALL athletic facilities. The rich just get richer when we build our new football operations center.

I would also agree that the Bud has lost some of its luster, but it's still good enough to help Arkansas maintain its lead in the facilities race.

I'm not talking about Bryant-Denny. I know it's one of the finest football stadiums in the country, college or NFL. I'm talking about facilities for other sports. Alabama is putting a ton of money into other sports right now.

I knew what you meant. I was just agreeing that yes Bama is and they are ahead of us in football stadium.

Ole Miss has a 150,000 sq ft facility.

50,000 sq ft per win doesn't seem very economic.

Which, like UT's, the indoor facility goes into the square footage. Alabama's does not. But all these threads that dot the offseason are just pissing matches.

You know Ole Miss boosters are rich as hell and can spend their money on some good shite when they want to. Oh and thanks to Deuce for the $2mil he gave to it.

Arkansas' does not either. As I pointed out earlier in the thread, at which point the Tenner claimed it's cuz Arkansas is poor not because we don't need a new indoor facility.

I thought Arkansas' indoor facility was in the same building as the weight room.

We've all got nice facilities. A recruit is not going to pick one of us over the other based just on that. Does it matter maybe a little bit? Sure, but the atmosphere the people who inhabit those facilities create will play a much bigger role than just the facilities themselves.
