Okay. If Mizzou can win back to back East titles, then UT can do it. Get the right coach and the right QB, and it's easy.

Oh I was talking about Richt. They went from 1982 to 2002 without an SEC championship iirc. As a kid I remember the train wreck that Georgia was in the 90's until Richt got there.

There is a reason why UT has only played for and won one National Title in the last 50+ years....and for UT those reasons still exist.....

Any team with adequate resources can win at the highest level.

If you think money and facilities is all it takes then Texas would be winning every year.

Alabama was at best a marginal program before Saban took over and it took him 22 games to become #1 ranked.

It's always about the coach and the staff he hires along with the support of the ad and fans
