I concur on likely 9-3 season for UT.
If I were an LSU fan, here are the reasons I would be confident going into this season:
1). Jayden Daniels - He's got really good tools to be a successful QB, but will need good protection from the line.
2). Offensive Line - Center and guards are a Redshirt Senior, Junior and Junior Transfer...
3). Defensive Transfers - Two starting linebackers and three starting defensive backs are transfers. If you go to the 2-deep, there are 12 players they got through the transfer portal...all of them are Juniors or Seniors.

Tennessee vs top 2 in SEC West - 2-0 (total margin of victory 30 points combined)
LSU vs top 2 in SEC East - 0-2 (total margin of loss 47 points combined)

Only the alts of one maybe two posters are crowing. Most VOLS are cautious with the success after about two decades of cluster f$&k seasons. We seem to be turning the corner but sustained success is needed.

UT beat the top 2 in the West. Their only losses were to SEC East Opponents...and they got an Orange Bowl win. Saying the East was more competitive doesn't take anything away from what Georgia did. You don't have to be so defensive.

Doesn't really matter anyway. You have the dawgs at Neyland. You have to beat them. You can't play them close and you can't say we are getting there. You have to beat them. No matter whatever you do that is the team standing in the way.

I 100% agree
What sucks though is that even if we beat them, we’d most likely see them again in the playoff, and lose the rematch, because it’s hard to beat a team twice. Then again we’d get shat on. The whole cycle is stupid.
