Who would be better off waiting??? That is besides Faulk. He did have his reasons though.

The only position than any kind of freshman MIGHT make the two deep, one or two on the O-line. They are both top five at their position and will be in school in less than a week. Offseason workouts, spring drills, summer workouts and fall camp. That's what they have to look forward to. They are not your typical freshmen.

If I remember correctly when we played the aggies the STARTING RIGHT SIDE of the LSU O-line were both freshmen. Starting RB was a freshman also. Along with a LB and a CB.

By my count thats three starting freshmen on "O" and at least two on "D". That's not even counting our nickle back that was a freshman and at least three true freshmen LBs started a game or couple of them.

I see it's from '07, which explains why there's no "Bama inferiority complex" section on there.

OT Chris Faulk (this one hurts the most)
Punter Brad Wing (Keehn is just as good)
DE Barkevious Mingo and Sam Montgomery (great players, but the freaks coming up behind them will fill in nicely)
DT Bennie Logan (Ego got plenty of experience this year and last)
FS Eric Reid (Martin played alot this year and will fill his spot)
MLB Kevin Minter (expect Barrow to slide to MLB and the otehr 5 OLBs that got alot of pt this year will fill out the OLB spots.)
CB Tharold Simon (Collins and Eugene got alot of pt, but I wouldn't be surprised if T. White come sin and wins this position as a true freshmen. The guy is lights out at CB.)
TB Spencer Ware and Michael Ford (both were beat out twice for starting spots by Blue and Hill who both return along with Hilliard. It would take all 3 to get injured before I get worried.)

We'll be fine next year. If anything we may actually be better on the field because now we go into the season as underdogs with minimal expectation and the talent-level doesn't drop, which is usually when LSU has their better seasons.

I was perusing the recruiting lists on Rivals and seeing how LSU stacks up against the rest of the field and now I see how someone from aTm doesnt understand early exit Juniors. LSU has 25 recurits and is currently 6th on the list. aTm is 8th on the list with 34 recruits! 34 recruits and they are behind LSU. Hell they are behind USC who only has 14 recruits.

If the players are not good enough then they darn sure wont leave early...

Losing Wing isn't really a big deal

.. What a fricking dumb statement. I team that relies on a strong defense, with a not so potent offense won't miss the best punter in the country?

I'm sure he is, since you've got all the previous knowledge to gauge his gametime consistency. One game worth of punting, and you're already making comparison statements about him being as good.. Premature and fricking homerish if you ask me.

Love this - Love this - Love this

Truth is truely stranger than fiction.

aggie ragging on LSU about so many freshmen in it's two deep.

What was JFFM class in '12? You know the guy who just won the heisman.

How bout aggies leading receiver? What was his classification?

Truth be told including kicker and kick returner a&m had TWELVE freshmen on their two deep. Three starters on "O", two on "D", kicker and returner.

Their #1 and #3 WRs were both freshmen.

aggies just had their best season in how many years in LARGE part because of said freshman.

How bad was that fricking idea?

LSU will be nowhere that number in '13.
