And who's to blame? The NCAA. Decades of profiting off the backs of 'amateur' athletes.
Decades of raking in hundreds of millions while the athlete gets nothing.
Decades of never enforcing violations against UGA/GUMP/OSU, etc., leaving their chosen few alone at the expense of everyone else.
Well guess what? Tennessee has more money than UGA, than GUMP, than OSU. So now it's our turn. Athletes WILL get paid at UT. UT is leading the way, and the athletes know this.
Get in the back of the bus, NIL is our time.

If the NCAA were to disband and a super league were to form the top teams/schools would be the ones creating the league. The issue though is UT does not fit that mold and has not since last century.
Super League should be for the best teams not those trying to buy their way into it. I guess UT could join the group of G5 teams fighting for the scraps left by those in the new founded super league. Assuming that is the direction we are headed.
Sorry UT you are going to get screwed no matter the outcome.

Hopeful about what? UT is no concern to me. I would rather UA play competitive teams but understand why so many fans throughout the SEC are upset that we have kept UT as a perm rival for so many years. The last 20 years was pretty much a guaranteed win.

These kids aren't going for the education and three years in a Communications department pretending to be a student doesn't have any value.

UA spends less money and continues to to be one of the top programs in the country. So low investment but great ROI. Whereas Ut continues to get a poor ROI.
Thanks once again for demonstrating how great UA is and pointing Ut still in sad shape as a program.
