Kansas State constantly exceeds preseason expectations. As far as South Carolina goes, they're underrated as a program in general. They're a baseball power, and I'd like to think that those four good years under Spurrier has set a standard for the future when the OBC finally retires. Things should be different from the 0-12/1-11 days, it's a more attractive job now.

In the SEC, I have to go with Mizzou. OOC Georgia Tech, K. State and TCU are all good choices, I'll go with with Kansas ST.

Georgia Tech was my #2 option, but they have an almost-recent NC to their name. I think they're more dormant than underappreciated. I did forget about TCU. That program has made some awesome strides.
I'll add a category. NIU is the most underrated mid-major. Cincinnati and UCF are also in the running.
