Auburn has been to the NCAA tournament 9 times since it expanded in 1985.
In 6 of those 9 trips we lost to the eventual national champ. Another made it to the Final Four and another to the Elite 8.
We also have a knack for playing national champs in seasons when we don't make the tourny.
Auburn played both Gonzaga and Baylor this year, and got our butts kicked.
