Nahhh shut the frick up. All offseason the media along with other fanbases have filled social media with stupid takes about how Bama is going to fall face first.

Yall are going to eat that crow like the two girls one cup video, and it will be glorious.

I don’t wanna hear the “we were just trolling y’all are so insecure” shite from any one of you.

I think thats just the typical off season shite posters lol. Most sane fans know Bama has the talent and your new coach got a lot out of Wash. I ranked Bama 1 in my recent SEC poll I completed, due to talent and what appears to be a good coach.

No one will be Saban but that doesn’t mean others can’t do great things.

This is going to be one hell of a year with so much talent in the SEC games.

where? The only time I ever see statements like this it's bama fans referencing nothing in particular.

Now, if you're referring to people saying bama has gone down one notch from where they were, or their dynasty isn't full throttle anymore, both of those are objectively true but neither one means that you're "falling on your face" or dead in the water.

What seems to be the issue here is that the vast maority of bama fans perceive any criticism whatsoever, no matter how minute or slight it is, and pretend that people are now saying you'll go winless.

How is that possible? We were told all of Bama's talent left when Saban retired. Rats off a sinking ship, etc., etc.

I think most reasonable people knew Alabama still had a lot of talent.

Here is an honest question for Alabama fans.

How will you feel if Alabama does not win the title this year?

We've heard from Alabama fans that Deboer gets the most out of his players, and now he has the most talented roster. Championship?

Bama fans have said repeatedly that 9 wins is acceptable in his first year but I see 10-2 with a playoff appearance imo.

Winning the natty 100% depends on if Milroe has progressed enough in the offseason and over the course of the season.

Y’all dumb fricks still aren’t getting it. No one said or expects Alabama to be talentless and go 6-6. But Saban is gone and Alabama will NOT have the dominance they have had the last 15 year.

The days of going 12-0 and 11-1 ever year are over.

OU will be dangerous when they get a legit coach.

What? BV has 3 Natties. If you compare him to Sark in their first 2 years he won 1 more game each year than Sark. And this is his 3rd year. He cleaned out most of the O only LR players but that took time, he didn’t have his players to start. In fact most of the O talent left plus he had little D talent.

I think many underestimate BV and what he’s building. This chart is pretty amazing when you look at how much roster churn he had to do. The roster was empty when he took over and compared to Bama roster one of the best for their new coach its quite a bit different situation.

His D is very complex and so you need to get that first class in to learn it and then start building depth along with the learning curve. Year 3 he finally has some major depth with players who understand his system.

But soon we’ll be playing games and then we’ll all see. I think he needs one more year/class to really shine.

Why, because everyone deserves to be in the playoffs? 12 teams is plenty.... because all you gotta do is win.

You've been a member since 2004, surely you know how to use the "search" function?

Oh, you don't? Okay, here's one example:

Anything less should be considered an absolute failure.

Maybe, maybe not. The talent is clearly still there, and this staff has done a great job with less talent in the past, so let's see how things go.

But man, how sad are you going to be if your prediction doesn't come to fruition?

and pretty much everyone other than trolls expect bama to win at LEAST 9 games this year and very likely more, if no several more.

But by all means, continue to play victim.

What these rankings tell me is that the Big-12 is vastly overrated now that Tex and OU are gone. Let's compare these talent rankings to the AP poll:

* Okie State is ranked 17th in the AP, but 53rd by talent.

* Kansas State is ranked 18th in the AP, but 64th by talent.

* Arizona is 21st in the AP, but 56th by talent.

* Kansas is ranked 22nd in the AP, but 49th by talent.

For reference, Vanderbilt is ranked higher by talent than all of those teams except Kansas. And Vandy is the absolute worst team in the SEC.
