I’m feeling generous, so I did the work for you.

2014-2016
UGA 39
Vandy 5

But clearly Uga losing to Vandy is the same as Alabama losing to Clemson.

Just curious. How many more games has Uga lost to teams they should’ve beat than Bama has lost to teams we should beat?

You truly are impaired, aren't you?

Does Alabama lose to teams they should not lose to almost every year? Yes, or no?

I am more than willing to say that Georgia has in the past. I never said otherwise.

Immaterial. I have already admitted that we do...or did in the past. (We might this year, too, none of us know at this point) The whole point is that Georgia does, and so does Alabama. It is not a matter of whose losses are more or that they are better losses....they happen. To both teams.

The knock on UGA has always been that they lose more often to teams they shouldn’t.

And your comparison for Ole Miss is valid, but bringing Clemson into it was downright retarded.

Not by a long shot. I can guarantee you not other team in the country has as many 5* players starting as Alabama has. If you can find me one I will be more than happy to apologize.
Alabama has had several injuries this year, and I would be willing to be they still have more 5* players starting. And every program has players that don't pan out....just nobody else has a 5* player ready to step in and fill that failure.

LINK

80% 4 and 5* athletes on the roster at Alabama... next closest, 71% Ohio State, drops down to mid 60s after that... so a 15-20% roster boost on even the best rosters in the conference.

AGAIN! I admit that.

Nope, it wasn't. I showed you the talent difference, and it was very big. The coaching difference is very big. the facilities difference is very big.

That is a tip of the hat to Clemson, too. they took less and made more. I'm not sure if you are used to people taking troll shots at Alabama, so you think everything is a shot at Alabama, or what the deal is. But if you want to argue that Clemson had as much talent as Alabama on last years team, you will lose every time.

Thanks, Fib. I was too lazy to do that much work.

I am a huge admirer of Alabama and what they have done.
But if they think other teams have as much talent on their roster as they do, then they are fooling themselves.

As big as the difference between UGA and UF/Tech/Vandy?

2014-2016 4 and 5*
Georgia: 39
Florida: 21
Tech: 0
Vandy 5

When you have the number one recruiting class every year you should win every game. You literally have the best players.

I say true. Wins over State and ND guarantees it.

UGA's strength of record, resume, quality wins may be better than Bama's at this juncture, but that does not guarantee it.

The committee considers other factors, such as eye test, coaching, talent level & depth, complete team, etc. They probably (and should) also consider which team they believe would win on a neutral field.

It's possible UGA could be ranked #1, but given the Bama's near unanimous first place votes in the two major polls, Bama #1 and UGA #2 seems more likely.

And the best coaches and best facilities. And he still wants me to admit what I have already admitted. That in the past, Georgia lot to teams we shouldn't have. But he can't bring himself to say that Alabama does the same thing!

The only time I would put Georgia ahead of Alabama is if Georgia beats them. That is what it would/should take.

I don't know how the ranking will. E but if there are two SEC teams in the playoffs you can bet your arse they will play each other in the first playoff game. They will not allow it to a an SEC NC game!

I’ve never said Alabama hasn’t lost to teams we shouldn’t have. What I am saying is comparing our losses to UGA’s is like saying that the Mercedes Benz dome and the local high school stadium are the same because they both have turf.

I hadn't thought about that, but you are probably right. I don't see two teams from the SEC making it, though. I mean, I've looked at the remaining schedules and it is possible.......but everything would have to fall exactly right. The winner of the SECCG goes, and the loser stays home is my guess.
