No man, its true. I go to quite a few LSU games with buddies and Alex Box is definitely lacking in which we all agree. The outfield sucks and the metal bleachers will blind the shite out of you in a day game(forgot glasses one time and couldn't see color for the rest of the day). Ads on the walls . Bleachers all over the stadium instead of chairbacks . No, bullpens???WTF??? I feel like its a little league game watching pitchers warm up. Even the "Intimidater" is lacking in originallity....could've been a lot better. The overall design of the park wasn't well thought out. With a rich tradition in baseball as LSU has, it definitely failed with the new park.

They don't have enough money from all of their advertisements to afford bullpens?

I guess not. It looks like someone brought a load of dirt in,dumped it in outfield foul ground. The only thing its missing to look any more shitier is a sign reading BULLPEN staked in the ground clearly marking it.

I love ole miss's outfield atmosphere. However, no stadium touches the box. I agree bleachers aren't as nice but no one comes close to the box in the areas they poured their money into. You walk up to the box and you are like wow.

Until you get inside...Lets be honest here, the ONLY reason the Box is thought of in that light is because of Skip and his teams in the 90's.

No the inside is super nice too. The grandstand area/suite area is far superior to ole miss and state. Not to mention the hall of fame and champions club areas. LSU didn't pour money into the cheap seat areas of the box but that's it.

Both atmosphere are absolutely amazing. I have never actually attended a game at Swayze, but from what I've seen in videos and hear, it is one of the best places to play. I love Dudy Noble for its tradition. LFL can be fun whether their are 200 or 2,000 fan. Just by pure logic, the Ole Miss right field beer showers look as if they could only be successful if there are a bunch of people in attendance. Not a flame. Could someone who attends more often chime in?

Someone should tell them that Alex Box is named for a Mississippian. Another example that Mississippi runs shite in baseball
