At least Sumlin could get up by 34 in the first place

That wasn't the first multi-score lead Sumlin blew in the 2nd half either.

The year prior (2016), A&M led Ole Miss 28-13 going into the 4th quarter and lost 29-28 to a true freshman.

Is there a reason you started with 2014 with Malzahn and didn't include 2013?

Sumlin was at A&N for 6 years.
Gus has been at Auburn for 7 years.

Giving one coach more time would skew the numbers, so I went with Malzahn’s 6 most recent seasons.

He used their most recent 5 years at those respective programs

6 years and it would have been a FAR more accurate picture to show how both coaches peaked their first year and got worse.

False. Bear Bryant finished top 5 in his third year at A&M.

Is there a statue of Bahr at A&M?

Sumlin had his best season in year 1 and got worse.

Gus had his best season in year 1 and got worse.

Do you understand how to compare LiKe VaRiAbLeS?

Sumlin continues to have his best year in year 1 and then get worse (5-7 year 1 Arizona, 4-8 year 2)

Sumlin had Case Keenum and failed to win a conference title, getting blown out by 3+ scores both times he reached the title game.

Through 12 seasons as a head coach, Sumlin STILL has 5 fewer wins than Fisher has through 10.

Sumlin blew a 34 pt lead to UCLA and lost 59-0 to Bama. He is a loser.

Lil Jimmy would have never had a lead.

They’re Bama and you’re A&M.

I was just asking how many of Jimbo's positive accomplishments were at Florida State.

A&M will claim FSU's 2013 championship before long. I'm surprised they haven't laid claim to any of former Ag coaches Bryant and Stallings achievements at Bama yet

Jimbo may not get it done at A&M. Time will tell. But Sumlin had 6 seasons to try and get it done and turned in a 1-11 record against LSU and Bama. Time ran out for him. It's now Jimbo's turn. If he can't get it done then he will be fired too. It's really that simple.

Kevin Sumlin's greatest hits (post-Manziel)

2015: He suspended Kyler Murray for pulling himself out of the Alabama game after throwing an interception and cussing out then-offensive coordinator Jake Spavital. During the following week against Ole Miss, he left quarterback Kyle Allen in the game with a separated shoulder to cover up the fact that Murray was suspended. Only when it looked like Allen wouldn't be able to lift his arms did he sub in Jake Hubenak, raising EXTREME red flags.

2015: During the week after the Ole Miss game, Sumlin lied to the press saying that there would be an "open quarterback competition" to cover up the fact that he suspended Murray and that it resulted in Kyle Allen being injured. Murray "won" the starting job against South Carolina, then completely shite the bed against Auburn the following week, sliding to avoid a hit at the 2 yard line instead of attempting to score.

2015: Starting QB Kyle Allen transfers 2 weeks before the bowl game. 6 days later, Kyler Murray transfers as well.

2016: Hires Noel Mazzone, a terrible offensive coordinator who famously has his entire playbook available online and doesn't deviate from it.

2016: Leading 28-6 and 28-13 against Ole Miss in the 4th quarter, Sumlin manages to lose 29-28 at home to a true freshman making his first start.

2017: UCLA 45, Texas A&M 44

2017: Tied with Nicholls 14-14 late in the 4th quarter before winning 24-14.

2017: Trailed UL-Monroe 24-17 at halftime. Won 45-24.

2017: After a bye week, lost 35-14 and 42-24 at home in back to back weeks to Mississippi State and Auburn

2018 (Arizona): Started 0-2 with back to back blowout losses to BYU and Houston enroute to a 5-7 season despite inheriting Heisman Candidate Khalil Tate.

2019 (Arizona): Lost to Hawai'i 45-38 despite having a +7 turnover margin enroute to a 4-8 season, his second losing season in as many years, and twice the number of losing seasons his predecessor had.

You aren't a good one to judge because neither would ever lose to USCe at Texas A&M.

Him and Mazzone Definitely wasted Khalil Tate's career. Imagine if Rich rod had been able to stay instead of getting railroaded by feminazis

Sumlin won 66% of his games. A&M historically wins 60%. I'd say he did get it done
