Funny thing is, had Auburn simply closed the door on the Tide in their game, there's a good shot UGA still gets in. If not, FSU.
Oh well. The story has been written on this season.

That sounds good to me. Far too much between the conf champ's and the playoffs so far.

Says the fan of the team who could not stop Bama on a 4th and 40

Pennix was dropping dimes all night long. Not just one or two big throws but all night long. I was extremely impressed with him. He is going to make an excellent pro QB. Washington deserves to be there.
I'm not sure what to make of Penix. Texas secondary is very suspect with injuries, Freshmen, and not so great coaching. They probably could have picked him off a couple of times on those big rainbow bombs last night but didn't turn to see the ball. Could have at least batted them down. They played like true freshmen, which a couple of them are, against pro level QB and Receivers..It's a wonder the game was as close as it was and tied at halftime.

Who cares. An actual undefeated team will win.

Ahem, 2nd & 26.
Big difference in 2nd and 26 and 4th and 39, don't you think? I mean, neither is anything to brag about but given a choice which situation would you rather be in?
That said, would you like for us to go over a few of your teams failures?

Y'alls game was the first time I had seen him play. He was dropping dimes not once, twice, tree times but over and over and over again. He put them into tight windows and in tight coverage and placed the ball exactly where it needed to be for his guys to catch and to keep it out of reach of the defenders. On top of that he read the defense well and threw with excellent velocity. He made a believer out of me.

FTR, I didn't down vote you. I thought you made lucid and fair points.

All undefeated teams are not created equal. That said, Washington and Michigan looked really good. Washington looked better, but it's always difficult to say whether it was the competition or if they were actually as good as advertised. But they looked very, very good. I will be pulling for Washington in the big game.

Go for it. Certain my rock pile is larger, but go, please go.

Washington earned it. Michigan cheated to get there

Can you believe an Aubie would actually say this after their incredible breakdown with Bama. Talk about not being able to win the one they needed

The SEC refs were on that field with UGA and Bama. It’s hard to beat Bama and the refs
Ding Ding I think we have a winner.

Both teams have some failures. We won't even talk about your teams latest failure against Michigan. I mean, your center couldn't even snap the ball? Its been a problem all year, not just in that last game....but yes, when the chips were all in on the table at the goal line it happened again.
And it doesn't matter whose "rock pile" is bigger or smaller. We've both had failures and to say "my rock pile is larger" seems rather stupid.
You: "Your team has had failures!"
Me: "So has your team."
You: "But you've had more!"
Seriously? That's what you want to fall back on?

and 31?
Ok. I'll play this, then.
Which would you rather be in? 2nd and 26 or 4th and 31? Does that really make you feel much better?
You are a strange dude trying to nit pick something that really does not matter at all.
