Tua was a badass passer as a soph starter.
Jalen was still trash passer as a soph starter.

Yep, the decision to start Bennett. It turned out to be a good one.

Evidence of good depth when you can still win the national title with the backup QB. Saban used to have that.

Speaking of the NC game, Bennett's rating was higher against Bama than JTD's was against Mizzou and Charleston Southern.

Since you seem to have forgotten, we are discussing JTD as a starter. Bama was lucky to miss the JTD that torched SC and Vandy.

When they had both available they chose Bennett amd JTD transferred.

Sometimes coaches play the lesser QB for "reasons". We already established that reality, and for Uga 2021, it was JTD’s lack of dependability due to constant injuries that held him back.

That's a nonsensical analogy.

It does take a little logic.

You've already said you wouldn't play Anderson, so you can't say anything is missing.

Do you know what the definition of missing is?
Did he play in the game? Then his production was missing.

You wouldn't have played Metchie or Williamson with their injuries. Were you missing their production?

Was it the national title followed by record setting nfl draft that sold you on that absurd idea?

Yes, same list Jameson is on. Damn shame both only played about 20 snaps. 2 elite WR's.

Pickens could have played more. Jameson couldn't.
If Pickens is elite then Bama had 2 elite, better receivers.

I guess they call it post season for nothing.

Pickens must not have minded his agent giving details.

His agent who has $1000's riding on his client getting drafted as high as possible.

You mean his agent was fabricating quotes by Andrews? You've used coach speak so is that agent speak when they make up quotes?

Tua started at a certain point and was the starter from then on unless injured. The JTD and Bennett situation was nothing similar.

The backup QB who caused the starter to leave, had sites calling him the starter and JTD healthy.

You mean JTD can only play well as a starter? He started against Clemson, which Bama is closer to on defense than Vandy/USC.

Great. We agree Bennett was the starter.

Just a few of the comments you've made that lack lucidity. The other guy won't say it, but you are making him look bad. At least he tries using actual arguments. You just spout things that make no sense.

Are you under the impression that we are the only ones posting? I mean, you apparently are checking in on the thread as you posted earlier and here you are again. So, it is at least interesting enough for you to check in and see what is being said.

You are the one that claimed if a team would not play a player then that team was not missing their production. Consistency in thought is not a strong suit of yours, is it?

I am merely repeating your arguments back to you and applying them to your own players. Are you admitting your arguments have no merit and are foolish? Because they are.

You didn’t know the Post season is part of the season?

Pickens must not have minded his agent giving details.

He literally pays his agent to hype him up heading into the draft, so let’s add player:agent relationship to the list of basic things over your head.

quote:

You mean his agent was fabricating quotes by Andrews?

I mean you suck at reading and didn’t know it was his agent being quoted. Your dumbass literally thought it was his surgeon being quoted directly.

2017 bama and 2021 uga were similar in the sense that both teams started the lesser qb for “reasons”.

2018 tua got lucky his injury didn’t occur earlier in the season, or else he would have been on the bench like JTD was.

The backup QB who caused the starter to leave, had sites calling him the starter and JTD healthy.

Backup qbs playing well can keep a starter on the bench, especially one with consistent injuries. It’s one of those “reasons” you are struggling with.

I would expect any qb to struggle in that situation:

1. against a badass Clemson D
2. in game 1
3. with a starting OL out on play 2
4. with freshman pass catchers playing key roles

It only uga played a weak arse team like Miami in game 1 instead.

Would not play players who blew out their knees? You can't see the idiocy in that?
